These version updates also include changes in core protocols and additions in features that have been implemented onto the network, right from the live Mainnet implementation update called Roma, to subsequent version updates Minerva, Fortuna and Lima.
Newer versions of the Whitepaper have been launched as a consequence of the hard forks that have occurred on the network since æternity blockchain’s inception. The networks hard forks have introduced powerful upgrades like the FATE Virtual Machine, ÆNS – Aeternity Naming System, an upgraded governance system, Virtual State Channels, and the all-new Hyperchains.
