Access to feeds of information originating in the physical world is absolutely essential for the development of the decentralized economy. Unlike most blockchains, æternity offers embedded oracles. This allows the æcosystem to operate independently and without the need to use third party oracle services which usually hamper efficiency and increase the cost of transactions.
